Two Edmontonians were charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking after a report of a suspicious vehicle in Lamont County on Apr. 8.
Charges were laid upon two Edmontonians after Two Hills police were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in Lamont County near Range Road 163 on Apr. 8 at approximately 8:30 a.m.
With the help of Vegreville RCMP, a truck and trailer with a snowmobile were located nearby.
Further investigation resulted in police seizing what is believed to be methamphetamine (65g), approximately $3,000 in cash as well as break-in tools.
Rhonda Aksenchuk, 50, and Brent Broere, 47, were jointly charged with possession of break-in instruments, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
