Two break-ins in 10 minutes

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP responded to an alarm at the Bruderheim Fire Department at 3:50 a.m. on June 29.

A male suspect entered the fire department by damaging the front door. Once inside, the suspect stole a Stihl TS 700 saw before fleeing the scene. He is described as wearing a black hoodie with writing on the sleeve, dark pants and wearing a black face covering, black hat and gloves.

Meanwhile, 10 minutes later, an alarm from Lamont’s Home Hardware also prompted response from Fort Saskatchewan RCMP.

Two male suspects gained entry into the building at approximately 4 a.m. on June 29 by damaging the back door.

The suspects got away with a small amount of cash, power tools and drill kits when they fled the scene in a dark coloured pick up truck.

Police are appealing to the public for any information on either of these crimes which may lead to the identification of the suspects responsible for the robbery.
