RCMP continue to ask for public assistance in locating Janine Ellen Bott
Fort Saskatchewan RCMP is still requesting public assistance in locating missing 37-year-old Janine Ellen Bott. Janine was last seen on March 30, 2024, and there is concern for her well being.
Janine was last seen walking in the area of Township Road 534 and Range Road 185, in Lamont County.
It is possible she may have been headed toward Mundare, Alta., and would have most likely walked east along Township Road 534.
Mundare is located 20 kilometres due east of the location she was last seen. Janine has been known to hitchhike and it is possible someone may have seen her walking in the area or gave her a ride.
Janine is described as:
- Medium complexion
- 5 feet 1.5 inches tall and 110 pounds
- Straight brown hair and hazel eyes
- Flower tattoo on left wrist and healing symbol tattoo on right wrist
- Tattoo of Angel wings with names Ashton and Taylor on upper back
RCMP completed a search this past week-end for Janine and would like to thank all the landowners in the area who graciously gave permission to search on their properties.
As well, thanks to Edmonton and Parkland Search and Rescue volunteers who committed their own time to the search for Janine.
If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Janine, please contact the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Detachment at 780-997-7900.
