Olga Koroluk turned 100 years old on July 11, celebrating with a special cake at the Lamont Nursing Hone.

“She and her husband were business people in Edmonton for many years,” said nephew, Ed Koroluk. She is also the aunt of Lamont councillor Perry Koroluk.

Over the years, he said, they had managed businesses from a feed mill, to a hotel in Lloydminster to the Pocahontas cabins in Jasper.

When Ed went into the hardware business they partnered up until he retired at age 67.

The couple never had any children.
