Thorsby RCMP seeking suspect after Break and Enter to a residence
On Aug. 7, 2024, Thorsby RCMP quickly responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence situated in the Village of Warburg. Upon arrival, police met with the occupant of the home who reported that a male had just broken into his residence while he was present. Nothing was taken from the home at the time and no injuries occurred as a result of this incident. The male suspect was described as;
- Male with a pale complexion;
- Thin build ;
- Approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall;
- Described as having acne around his nose and cheeks;
- Collar length black hair, with a beard;
- The suspect had been dressed in all black, a leather coat.
RCMP members extensively patrolled the area, however no suspect was located at that time. An RCMP sketch artist was engaged and a composite drawing of the suspect was created. Composite sketches are created during an interview by refining a freehand drawing of a suspect until the witness indicates the drawing resembles their recollection.
