Lac La Biche RCMP recover stolen property
On July. 29, 2024, Lac La Biche RCMP attended a residence in Beaver Lake to locate a male for his outstanding Criminal Code warrants. While at the property the male fled in a stolen vehicle and was able to evade arrest.
While on the property, multiple pieces of suspected stolen property were observed. RCMP executed a search of the property resulting in the seizure of approximately $250,000 in stolen items being recovered.
In total RCMP recovered:
- 7 vehicles
- 3 trailers
- 6 ATVs
- 3 motorcycles
- Skid Steer
- Multiple generators, welders, and pumps
At this time 11 of the items seized have been confirmed as stolen property from across East Alberta, the owners have been notified of their recovery. RCMP are releasing photos of additional property recovered in hopes of returning it to their rightful owners. Lac La Biche RCMP are requesting you provide proof of ownership for return.
Lac La Biche RCMP investigation is still ongoing, charges are currently pending for the suspect, an update will be provided at a later date.
