Diduck and Anaka reelected Reeve and Deputy Reeve for Lamont County

Lamont County councillors met Oct. 28 for the first organizational meeting for the final term of this council.

The first order of business was the election and appointment of a new reeve and deputy reeve. Reeve David Diduck and Deputy Reeve Roy Anaka were both returned to the positions they have held for the past year.

Ward one councillor Daniel Warawa will join the Reeve and Deputy Reeve on the Emergency Management Advisory Committee for a term which will end on Oct. 21, 2021.

The Intermunicipal Subdivision and Development Appeal Board was selected for a four year term which will end Dec. 31, 2024. Those members are: Jerry Melnyk, David Thomas, Stuart Hawthorne, Sylvia Holowach, Allison Cossey, Heather Tait, and Candace Bryks.
