Alberta Midland Rail is proposing to build a $30 million rail car storage facility in Lamont County, and representatives officially unveiled their plan during an open house in Bruderheim recently.

Shawn Smith of Dominion Railway Services, said the rail car storage yard is to serve private fleet owners and rail shippers.
